Whether you prefer tent camping or rolling in with your RV, take your choice of campsites at the waters edge! All of our camp-sites and cabins are beneath mature shade trees, so bring your lawn chairs. We have coin laundry, hot showers, clean restrooms and camp fires are allowed.

Missie's Lakeside Grille  

More than thirty years ago, the Card family began offering fishing, camping, relaxation and good food. Now, one of our long-time, valued customers has gotten into the act. Missie Hobbs is running “Missies’s Lakeside Grille” at Card’Nal Cove Resort.

Missie grew up coming to our campground. She and her husband Carroll and their sons Trevor and Cameron, have had their own camper in our campground for many years.

Missie’s Lakeside Grille is offering a wide variety of foods, including burgers, grilled chicken, as well as salads, pizza and homemade Milkshakes! She also has a wide selection of breakfast items, from basics like eggs and bacon to French toast and omelet's. Enjoy your meal on the deck overlooking Card’Nal Cove. We invite you to drop in during your stay!

RECREATIONAL BOATING



Tired of crowded lakes that have too much traffic? Is the safety of your family important to you? Being 59 miles long and with over 450 miles of shoreline, Cherokee Lake offers more than enough room for any water-sport your family can think of! Swimming- -Boating- -Sailing- -Personal Water Craft- -Skiing- -Tubing- -Knee Boarding- -Wake Boarding- -Barefoot Skiing. Just think…find a cove all your own, and then spend the day relaxing and playing in your own little paradise.



Prefer a slower pace? Take the 9 nautical-mile cruise to Cherokee Dam! This cruise is beautiful any time of the year, especially in the fall when you can enjoy the “Fall Colors”! Any direction you go on Cherokee Lake, you are assured a scenic view, enjoy sheer rock cliffs, shale beaches and islands of varying sizes to explore! There is something for everyone on Cherokee Lake.



DOCK SERVICES

Friendly service has long been a tradition for us! Our Manager, Rick has been with us for years! His staff is available to handle all of your marine and camping needs! You will have access to our launch ramp and large covered dock providing gas, ice, bait & tackle, beverages & basic groceries, and rental pontoon boats as well as the latest fishing information.

FISHING

Cherokee Lake offers some of the best fishing in the state!! Our lake is stocked with Bass, Crappie & more Striper than any other lake in the Tennessee Valley Authority system. When you bring your boat, you will have full access to our boat ramp and the opportunity to store your boat in a covered slip on our boat dock. Don’t have a boat? You can fish off of our dock & we’re sure you will catch enough for dinner! We are a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency License Agent for Resident, Non-resident and Temporary Licenses.

CLIMATE

Card’Nal Cove Resort, in Grainger County, is located in the valley between the Clinch Mountains and the Great Smoky Mountains. As such, we enjoy all four seasons and the beauty associated with seasonal change. During the summer months, we have warm days and cool nights with NO mosquitoes—due to the slight variations in the lake levels that kill mosquito eggs before they have a chance to hatch!
